Pictures to Hump By

Yes, the title is a little bit misleading. But I'm not sorry. Ha ha! Here's a recap of January 2009, photo-style bitches!

Snocross AKA North Pole NASCAR
Every day at lunch for 2 months, I watched as crews formed this track from piles of manufactured snow and really fun-looking big machinery. By the time the actual snocross event rolled around, I was practically beside myself with anticipation.
And then I realized snocross is boring to watch.
Abandoned blankets under a bridge -
apparently beggars CAN be choosers when it comes to bedding.
How I spent the 01/20/09

Prickly pokeys

Because tipping them sideways is like storing them out of the weather.
That's my kind of clean-up.

  1. I think that my son would LOVE motorcross... I will have to find one when it is warm to take him to!

  2. Damn...you so suckered me with that title...;)

I had a case of the prickly pokeys once, little salve in the right places took care of it. No more trips to Tiajuana for me! (laugh)

    Good morning, Cat!

  3. PICTURES TO HUMP BY… HUMP DAY… Clever girl.

Tipping on its side AND under a tree is totally proper storage. At least that must be my neighbor’s philosophy. Oh yea, and you put your elk skin in the pine tree for the birds to pick at until it falls to the ground so the dog can chew it.

  5. Love it... but those prickly pokey things give me the heeby-jeebies. They come in on my dogs and end up in the strangest places in my house.

  7. Two months of manufactured snow and use of big machinery so that idiots can race their snowmobiles? What a complete waste of resources that could have been used to make a giant track for sledding. Or burying the crazier of Minnesota politicians...

  8. I like that kind of clean-up and I approve of how random these photos are.

  10. Smart moving tipping them sideways, bringing them in is far too much work.

That picture of blankets is pretty cool, I thought it was sand with seashells. Duh.
